Having served on various healthcare boards over the years, Cynthia decided to volunteer for the LYC Board. Cynthia has enjoyed many years of singing in church choirs and women’s ensembles. Music education and performance was a significant part of Cynthia’s youth and she volunteers so that youth in Louisville can enjoy the benefits of the unique musical training that the LYC offers. She joined GE Appliances post graduation from the University of Louisville with a BA in Communications, Public Relations emphasis. This is her fourth year serving on the Louisville Youth Choir Board but her love of the organization began under the direction of Frank Heller III, 1982-1986.
