Arts for Kosair Kids® in Partnership with the Fund for the Arts

Louisville Youth Choir is proud to partner with local youth services providers as a part of Arts for Kosair Kids® in Partnership with the Fund for the Arts!

LYC visits Nativity Academy each week to work with students on Social Emotional Learning through music.

LYC visited Americana Community Center each week to work with two different choral ensembles, which the kids themselves have named, Americhoir!

  • AmeriChoir performed at Americana Community Center’s WINTERFEST in December 2016 and then took the stage with LYC at their 50th ANNIVERSARY GALA CONCERT in May 2017!

LYC visited Louisville Central Community Center each week to work with elementary musicians to build their performance and ensemble skills and to work with the middle and high school singers to build their vocal development and individual, solo voices.

LYC visited Centerstone each week to provide a performing arts component to the school’s Humanities classes.
